Infant flu shot and egg allergy

Anonymous
My daughter, 14 months, has a moderate egg allergy. Our allergist and pediatrician have both recommended that she receive the H1N1 vaccine and we would very much like her to receive the vaccine. Both doctors have said that she needs to receive the shot at the allergists office because of a potential allergic reaction to the shot, but neither my pediatrician's office nor the allergist have the H1N1 shot. Has anyone else been down this road? Were you able to obtain a flu shot for your child with an egg allergy and how? My father is sick with cancer and we will be taking several flights to visit him this winter. Because of this non-optional travel, I would really like my daughter to get the vaccine. Thanks for your help.

Can she get tested at the allergy Dr. for the H1N1 vaccine? Do they at least have the allergy testing for it? My DD has an egg allergy and got the testing for the regular flu vaccine and was able to get the shot that same day. Maybe call around to other allergy Dr's in the area to see if they have it?
