| I'm excited to see the NESCAC movement next week. I wonder if it will be mostly new movement or if many will decommit to go. |
| Is that typical to decommit and chose a NESCAC? I would imagine the club would not be happy about that? Is there a date for NESCAC? |
| 1 July as a conference. They require a preread after the junior year. I don't know how clubs respond, but these are often the top D3, if not top academic schools, in America. I dont think this will impact many, if any, Blue commits, but there are a number of high academic girls looking to go to college for college, and not to "major" in lacrosse. |
If this were the case the player chose their initial school for the wrong reason. It’s certainly not fair to the school they committed to or to those players that school may have passed on for this player. Choose your school first and if lacrosse happens to come with it that’s the added bonus. |
Don't follow women's lacrosse like men's, but if it's anything like it they're getting offers with very tight timelines. That don't extend to July 1 so they may see how possible admissions play out. "Not fair" runs in either direction. Students get one shot at this (at least to potentially be in 1 spot for 4 years), do what's best for you. To the PP, who cares what the clubs think if they're not backing their player's choice? |
