I just want to send out a great big thank you to the DCUM's who posted about their experiences in attending Fairfax mass Saturday clinics and suggested that if you wait and go later, there will be little to no wait.
We took the advice last Saturday (11/7) and went around 3:30 (they closed at 5p) - we walked right in and there was no wait. In fact, although there were tons of people and I was nervous walking in -- many people were just filling out the authorization forms and when we walked into the nurses station there were actually nurses waiting for people to come in! One bit of advice, to further expedite things, print and fill out the authorizations before you get there so you can just walk straight back! Great job Fairfax! And thanks DCUM's! |
| I agree- thanks to posters here I found out that they'd opened it up to all kids 6 months +, and there was no wait, so DH took DD and they walked right in and she got the shot right away, no wait. Much better than the two failed attempts we had at other clinics where we waited and eventually had to leave because she was too fussy (it is hard to keep an 18 month old happy in line for very long!) |
