anyone use rollers?

I want to use my flat iron less because my hair is suffering. My hair is shoulder length, thick and straight. Would rollers work as well? I watched a video online that said to spray sections of the hair with hair spray, use extra large velcro rollers, keep them in for 2 hours, then viola.

Any advice from roller-users would be appreciated.

I used to use rollers of various types back when I was trying to make my hair big. They work. It's not the most fun to wear your hair in rollers, but it will do the trick. I seem to recall I used mousse instead of spray.

Rollers will give your hair more body than a flat iron. Not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind when styling.
