According to the article you linked, the police shot him as he was in the process of trying to kill the child and the child survived (with what injuries I don't know).
He murdered his girlfriend, his mother, his stepfather and his 9 month old infant. They all lived in the house. He tried to kill another woman who was visiting but she got outside. |

Court documents out of Marion County show Mark Gago had been wanted for not paying child support. His last payment had been made in January 2015. He had a March 25, 2019, hearing scheduled for contempt of court. |

So this was to someone else? If their baby was only 9 months old, it couldn’t have been for her. I thought it was the older child, but see that people are saying that was a stepdaughter (and makes more sense since you probably wouldn’t be going after your current boyfriend in court and having more kids with him). If so, his other kid’s mom is lucky he didn’t go after her. What a horrible situation. |
