Cycle has been off since I had a miscarriage

I had a miscarriage in early August. The misoprostol didn't work and I ended up waiting and Miscarrying naturally. My doctor recommended waiting 3 cycles until I try to conceive. lately my cycles have been really short instead of being 28 days they are like 19 or 20 it's very weird and I can't figure out when I'm ovulating. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ask your doctor for provera to jump start a period. After my MC it took my body 6 weeks to regulate and get back to normal. Have you had your hormone levels checked after your MC?

Yes I had routine blood draws to check my HCG levels is there a different tests I need to take to check my ovulation?
