| It’s winter and this week VERY cold so I’m trying to come up with ideas of things we can do. She never leaves the dog alone in a strange house (ours) so it will be with her at all times. Does that mean no eating out? We have no pets so I’m at a loss. Other than taking walks, where can we go? In Upper NW DC. |

We don’t have a dog but love to pet sit. Our kids love it too
Can you have someone come over and watch it so you can go out alone! |
|
Can you order uber eats/take out if you don't feel like cooking? It isn't the same as going to a restaurant, but it's better than having to shop/prep/cook a meal each time.
Did your friend not thing about the logistics of a tagalong dog when she arrived at your house? |
| What a pain. |
| That is insane, she cannot crate him for a few hours? I believe some breweries allow dogs like Streetcar 82 in Hyattsville. But yeah, she needs to be able to leave him alone for at least a little bit. |

I though that space wasn't open yet?! Weird.
Your sibling should have done a little thinking ahead. What on earth does she want to do with a dog? |
| If the chick won't leave her dog in her own sister's apartment, I highly doubt she's going to be willing to board it, unfortunately. |
My dog would freak right out in that environment. It looks chaotic and exhausting (in a bad way). |
This. Your sister is a nutcase and I think you are home bound unless you want to tell her so. I mean, you can walk the dog around Lowes and PetSmart, but I don’t think that’s what you had in mind. |
