Bought a new car and it’s been over four weeks and still no tag. The dealership tells me to keep waiting. Should I be concerned? The temp tag expires in 12 days.

No need for concern. I doubt a cop will pull you over for it, and if they do just explain it to them.

The dealer can get an extension and a new temp tag for you. It took me months to get my DC tags. Call the dealer a week out and they can mail them to you.

Don't worry - it takes forever. Ask dealership for a new temp tag.
