PGS a month ago but samples were sent 2 days ago???

I had 5 embryos biopsies at SG on 12/21/2018. Last week I emailed the nurse asking if the results are in. I was told the results are not available yet. Today I decided to call Igenomix just to check what the delay is and was told that samples were received yesterday, basically a month after the biopsy! I have been anxiously waiting for results. Is this standard? I am getting a little upset here.

Reach out to your doctor and ask that they get back with you directly with more information as to why this is the case. Express to them your concern that you have spent 5k (guessing based on my cost) for these important, and emotionally strenuous results and still have not heard back, only to learn they were never sent.
My personal experience with almost all of the nurses at Dominion Fertility, and SGF is that they are lazy, highly unorganized, and hide it well from senior staff. Call them on it every.single.time.
Think about it like this....you take your car to a shop for a repair and spend 5k for a fix only to learn they haven't touched it? This is your future baby. This is your life on hold. Advocate for yourself and never feel bad about calling them out!

That is INSANE

Results should come back 10-14 days after biopsy. Only thing I can think if is if SG lab or Igenomix closed for a week between Christmas and NYE.

Ask SG to pay for expediting the results since they screwed up.
