I'm so curious about how it happens. These otherwise attractive women start messing with their appearance when they enter this group's orbit. Does one of them make an overt offer to introduce them to the family surgeon? Is it some bonding ritual between the women? Are they all profoundly insecure? Bettina was no stranger to procedures, but those lips don't look great.

The strange thing about this (cute suit) is that usually you want the lighter spots where you want to look "bigger" and your darker where you want to look "slimmer". So for me I would desperately need the light on my bosom area and dark around my hips. Ivanka can pull it off the other way around!

I think you're taking the concept of "dress code" waaaaay too seriously. She doesn't wear pants to "throw insult" on anyone. She wears them because she's comfortable in them and looks fantastic. Good on her. They were obviously very dressy and elegant and were fine for the occasion. It wasn't a state dinner.
