Twin boy and girl who are currently HS seniors. Both took the SAT back in 03/2018 and the boy scored 1000 while the girl scored 1050. Both are average student with 3.1 GPA
We spent an absurd amount of money on 1-1 tutoring and 1-1 SAT/ACT prep from 06/2018 until the end of 11/208 for both of them. Both took the SAT again on 12/1/2018 and they boy scored 1570 and the girl scored 1590. The boy also took the ACT on December 8th and he scored 35. I am very happy with the result but I am very surprised that they scored that high with the help of tutoring and SAT/ACT prep. It makes me think SAT/ACT is rigged for people with financial resources to prepare for the exam. |

| I’m sure it’s the $$$ tutoring had some impact, but it would be been a good scientific experimeter to have had one study on their own. My hypothesis, is that the increase could’ve still been great. |
So how did the score investigation go? Because this is what happens when someone scores a gain higher than 150 points. Or are you just trying to stir up trouble? |
| How much money did you spend in total for the tutoring? |
| Where have they been accepted to so far? Great scores, but mediocre GPA's |

Kids who outwit the system sometimes end up at schools at schools where they crash and burn. Caution! I strongly suggest that you steer them towards schools where they have a prayer of succeeding, under their own steam.
Otherwise you increase the odds of cheating, depression, insecurity and performance drugs. Just love and accept your children for who they are people! |
| Trollposter, ya gotta try harder than that... you are fooling no one. |
