| to have your baby through ART? |
3 IUIs and 1 IVF = $25,000 |
Was this in the DC area? We have spent 25k on 2 NCIVF, one stim cycle abroad and one stim cycle in VA (we have insurance that partially covers this). |
|
Including travel expenses? Probably around $50,000. This is with insurance coverage for IVF, but not for immune coverage (which we used and consider to be a big part of the success we had).
It's worth noting that before the MD IVF mandate, we did the shared risk at Shady Grove, but when that didn't work, we got all of the money refunded and put it toward one OOP cycle at Cornell before insurance kicked in. |
| Less than $20k?? I never looked at the total and I don’t want to know. Meds were not covered by insurance and were at least $6k. Every bill from Shady Grove felt like it was $800-1500. We paid 20% and insurance covered the first $20l of the 80%. We did 3 IUIs and 1 IVF. Our planned limit was $50k. |
| We've hit $50k for two: various treatments leading up to shared risk IVF for first pregnancy, shared risk FET for second pregnancy, storage fees, and meds (not as expensive as I have PCOS). |
| 140k. 4 iui, 5 ivf, the 5th also involved cost of gestational carrier. 12 years ago. Insurance didn't cover anything |
Yes, 3 natural cycle IUI, and fresh transfer IVF so no storage fees etc Insurance covered monitoring but not medication and procedures |
|
$70k in so far and not pregnant yet.
4 IVF banking cycles. 3 PGS normal embryos. 1 PGS normal miscarriage. 2 embryos left. No IVF coverage. |
| I guess IUIs are not technically ART but we spent $1,700 total on two IUIs, the second of which was successful. We have insurance in Maryland which covers 50% of infertility treatments and meds. |
| My first IVF was in Texas. My clinic charged $16k for IVF+ICSI. Meds were probably about $1400 (I used Bravelle which ended up recalled so I was refunded that money, plus I got a discount on menopure and Endo metrin, should've been $3k total). My husband's sperm retrieval was $6k. My FET at my old clinic in attempt for kid #2 was $5k. We're new to MD and I purchased individual health insurance to cover my next round of IVF. Hoping this covers a fair amount of the costs this time around. |
|
Somewhere between $45-55k. I never added the totals up as I didn't really want to know.
That included cycles in hopes of using my eggs, and a donor cycle w/ two transfers. |
| Probably around $100K. 8 rounds of IVF (3 ETs) with partial insurance coverage, MF treatment with partial coverage, and finally DE. It was over 3 years, and DE was a substantial part of that total. |
Did you do 3 egg retrievals of the 8 IVF rounds because the other 5 rounds were cancelled? Just trying to understand how the numbers connect! |
| 3 IUIs, two retivals, PGS and ICSI. Insurance covered 10k of meds and 20k of treatment. We probably paid an additional 15k oops for things insurance didn’t cover. |
