How many FETs til you got pregnant?

How many frozen embryo transfers did it take until you had success?

first kid: 1/1
second kid: 1/2

I have had 3 FETs total- all successful.

first time with a PGS normal embryo - the only embryo we ever had.

First FET, not PGS tested, resulted in our only child.
Second FET, PGS tested, was a BFP later determined to be ectopic.
So, 2 for 2 on BFP, but only one successful pregnancy.

2nd kid: miscarriage, BFN (with one lost in thaw), child
3rd kid: starting our 3rd FET now

(Yes, I make a lot of blastocysts, but we’ve chosen not to do PGS)

Do you mind sharing how old you are?

1st FET with PGS normal embryo: BFP but miscarried at 6 weeks.
2nd FET with PGS normal embryo: just got my BFP so praying this one works out!

Fresh transfer failed, but both FETs worked! We did not PGS test.

Good luck to you! I'm about to do my 2nd PGS FET after a 6 week PGS miscarriage and trying so hard to be hopeful. That's great that you got another BFP.

I’ve had 8 transfers, no baby. Just 3 miscarriages. Starting a fresh cycle anyday at a new clinic. Hoping for better luck!

Have you had an ERA? I have done 4 FETs so far (two with PGS normal blasts at clinic #1, two with untested blasts at clinic #2) BFN from the first 3 and a chemical from the last transfer. An ERA showed I was pre-receptive and will be transferring my last 2 blasts in a few weeks. I have my fingers crossed it will make the difference.

We went through 3 IVF cycles. Male Factor.
