How do you choose a donor?

| My husband and I have had four failed IVF cycles and are moving on to a donor egg cycle. I'm not really sure what to look for. It's a surreal experience mommy shopping...but what characteristics are most important? Young? Repeat donor? Educated? |

| I had one failed DE cycle at SG, and I feel this failure was in part bad choices on our part. First we did a 3:1 share, we were the 3rd couple in line for the donor's eggs, and second we chose a new donor based mostly on physical characteristics. Now, we are at a different clinic and we have chosen a proven donor with a strong education but not the physical characteristics that I felt were so important the first time. It's such a difficult process, GL to you. |

| I'm at Dominion Fertility and Natalie, their egg donor coordinator is great, I've never had a problem reaching her or her getting back to me. |
