I think it is mostly used to see if students are making progress toward the Common Core standards that will be part of the end of year PARCC assessments.

Never heard of any school using it for grades but you probably need to check with your teacher / principal.

It is not a good predictor for PARCC. Then again, DC should be getting rid of PARCC just like the rest of the country!

ANET is used as an in class assessment to help teachers see what still needs to be taught and what is considered mastered.

But then we would not be able to support the cozy relationship between the PARCC board and those who have been on the DC Board of Education.
