Returns after kids are better?

I'm sorry if this was covered already, the amount of posts in the flu forum is overwhelming to try and search...

For those with young children that had Swine Flu:

I heard that it can come back after the child is better, ie "call the doc if they are better but later get a fever and cough" I think my son just caught a cold 2 weeks after getting the flu and recovering (took him 2-3 days of feeling terrible then he was fine). He is really congested, some cough, some fever. Does this sound familiar? Should I be concerned. He's 4 y.o. Now my 7 month old has a fever and threw up... I can figure out why she didn't have any symptoms weeks ago when we had it (I had flu symptoms for about a day!).
