Excellence Christian School

Any feedback on Excellence for elementary? I know before a concern was the temp accreditation status which I believe is no longer an issue. Thinking about it for 1st grade.

They have an upcoming Open House. I was thinking about attending as well. Trying to decide for my Kindergarten child whose school had 31 students in their class this year. *smh*

I do know of a parent who child is in 1st grade there now, who said this would be her last year there but her reason is more for the commute. What's your in-bound school? SO far I have toured:

Riverdale
Rock Creek
Grace Brethren
Holy Trinity

We are currently at a private in VA but the class size may be to small for our son. I know parents who are happy with Riverdale and Grace Brethren but we are not looking at either of those. Did you like any of the schools you have already toured?

We were offered a spot at CMIT South but too late in the year for us to even consider accepting. At your neighborhood school was there an assistant with the class of 31? Our in-bound school has a smaller class size but we had already ruled it out as an option.

I did not like Riverdale at all. I can’t belive parents are actually paying for that school: it’s like a public school. Grace was just ok. Nothing jumped at me there either. Rock Creek was a mess. It looked ran down and beat up. I also toured Browne Academy in Alexandria, which I did like but I think it’s overpriced. We loved Holy Trinity and decided to apply there.

For our inbound school, there isn’t a fulltime assistant. Our inbound is definitely not an option. I’m in Clinton, MD.

I am the previous poster. My niece goes to CMIT and my sister seems to think it’s ok. However, she said drop off and pick up is a nightmare.
