"It's so boring"

Everything is "boring" to my 13-year old daughter. Winter break; wandering the mall with friends; ice skating, all museums and anything except staring at a screen.
She's so boring.
Driving me nuts.
Just sharing. Sorry if this is boring.

Pretty much normal.
Many years ago I worked in a job that I will just say involved transcription and phone calls. Teens were the worst.
what are you doing?
Nothing, you?
Nothing, I'm bored.
Me too
--and go on in this vein for a long time, eventually end having agreed that, yes, everything is boring.

Anyone who complains of boredom is given an onerous chore to do, so my kids know better than to make that complaint.
