| Vaping weed and nicotine. 15. I’d like advice from people who’ve had experience - thank you. |
| stop giving your child money. |
| depression and isolation came next for the teen in my family |
| I am in the same boat and wish I knew. D's freedoms were restricted and I will drug test him on a monthly basis. My ds was doing more than experimentation and I worry about the effects on his developing brain. Especially with the weed being sold these days, either very potent or laced with God only knows. |
OP here - same situation. May I ask how old son is? What have you done for consequences? |
| What's next? Cocaine. Then hallucinogens followed by heroin. |
| Do you think there is any depression or anxiety there? Would he be open to seeing someone? |
Most definitly dead in a ditch. |
I smoked a ton of weed as a high school kid. I then lost interest in it when I hit 20. Went back to using at age 40 to treat my horrible insomnia. Weed is indeed much stronger these days, but it is so nice not to have to actually smoke it. is also great to be able to basically order off a menu and get what you want, what potency and what form (oil, edible, flower...ect). Everything is so nicely labeled now and neatly packaged. I feel like I know exactly what I'm getting. FWIW, I run a 80 person IT company, I make more money than I can ever spend, I have two great kids and have been married for 17 years. I know lots and lots of successful adults who are 420 friendly. Some of them really shock me that they use when I find out. What is equally as shocking is how many adults are using legal drugs such as opioids, benzos and amphetamines for their make believe ADHD. All of which is apparently normal because a doctor said so. |
CBD oil < medical marijuana < ditch weed < cocaine < crack < patreon sponsors < meth < prostitution whore < dead in a ditch |
Ever think that if you didn’t smoke you could be owning an 8,000 employee company and not having to work ever again? |
15. He is only allowed to go to practice or games after school, then straight home. No more sleepovers and if at a friends house, I want confirmation parent is home. If tests are clean for several months, we can talk about regaining freedoms. If not clean, no drivers license when he turns 16 soon. Also, therapy to get to the "why" Again, I found evidence DS was using frequently. |
| Best of luck to you. |
| watch out for small time dealing...could be next. Look for scales. |
No one is using opiods for ADHD. However 'successful' some recreational weed-users might seem, weed can also become a gateway drug to much stronger stuff. It's a crapshoot. Oh, while we're at it, PP, what would you say if you found out your 'great kids' are using drugs? would you be cool about it? |
