The Prince George’s County Health Department Announces a Special Walk-in H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic for Infants and Toddlers

Prince George’s County Health Department will be holding an additional H1N1 flu clinic for infants and toddlers, from ages 6 months to 35 months on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the D. Leonard Dyer Regional Health Center located 9314 Piscataway Road, Clinton, Maryland.

“Providing the H1N1 vaccine to infants and toddlers is important to protect their health,” said Health Officer, Donald Shell, M.D., M.A. “As the Health Department receives ongoing supplies of the H1N1 vaccine, we will continue to provide additional opportunities for our residents in the high priority groups to receive the H1N1 vaccine.”

Based on the supply of vaccine on hand in the Prince George’s County Health Department next week, the agency will determine if it is able to conduct its usual Thursday walk-in H1N1 clinic.
