The second death at Ed Buck's home, of another black man, is "suspicious," law enforcement said.
By Lydia O'Connor A black man in his 50s was found dead early Monday at the West Hollywood apartment of Ed Buck, a prominent Democratic donor associated with a different death in his home last year. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not yet disclosed the deceased person’s name. An attorney for Buck told the Los Angeles Times that he believes the individual “was an old friend who died of an accidental overdose” of drugs he had used before coming to Buck’s home. The incident will sound eerily familiar to anyone who followed the investigation into the death of Gemmel Moore, a 26-year-old black escort who died of an accidental methamphetamine overdose in Buck’s home just 18 months ago. That sounds awful, and should be investigated thoroughly. The creepy old man may be a democratic donor, but I don't this has to do with "politics" - rich (white) guys are often given a blind eye for their sketchiness.
Even if the two men died from drug use, it seems ridiculous that Buck isn't charged with something drug possession/supply related, at the very least, if not more. |

Jasmyne Cannick, a public affairs strategist who has worked with Gemmel Moore's family, said the DA and Sheriff's Department 'have blood on their hands' for failing to properly investigate the donor. |

| You all should look up the Terry Bean story. Major obama donor and dem donor, co founded the human rights campaign. He and his boyfriend were accused of raping a 15 year old. Bean paid the 15 year old $250,000 and then the boy refused to testify and the prosecution didn’t want to subpoena him do they dropped the charges |
