How does the distribution of the H1N1 vaccine work? Is it distributed by the county to primary care docs? Are those docs then obligated to only give it to high risk patients? The reason I am asking is because I now know of three adults who are not high risk who have been able to obtain the H1N1 through their primary care doctor. I like the system where the H1N1 is only given through the county clinic- that way there is more accountability as to who receives the vaccine. I feel bad for the high risk adults & children who are not receiving the vaccine b/c of the shortage.
