Is it wrong to want a boyfriend just to have someone pay attention to me?

And make me feel special?

Yes.

Get a pet.

Why not? That's what lots of married women do.

Not at all. That's what an intimate relationship is.

So tired of insecure women and men who seek attention to fill the void inside themselves. Fix yourself first.

I actually like myself just fine. No one else has ever thought me special or paid much attention to me so I think it would be nice to have sex else think I'm special.

Most marriages are based on this.

I don’t get why that’s wrong to want. DH is my biggest fan. I am his. Isn’t that part of the fun of dating someone? Having someone excited to see you, talk and hang out with, and be intimate with? I know relationships are complicated and there’s more to it than that, but especially at the beginning, isn’t a lot of it about making each other feel good?

It's selfish if it's not mutual.

Having a boyfriend doesn't even necessarily mean you'll have someone who pays attention to you. Ask me how I know, ha.

If a boyfriend doesn't pay attention to you he should be your ex boyfriend

You’re no more entitled to a relationship than a guy is entitled to have sex.
