I'm the 42 year old female. My age range is 33 to 49. Most of the guys who contact me are divorced dads in their 40s. I think maybe they like me because I dont' have kids, and I also don't want my own, but am ok with stepkkids? Whereas most 34 year old women probably are still holding out for single guys without kids so they can have their own without the complication of stepkids (and personally I think you SHOULD hold out for guys in their thirties who have never been married).

41 is only 7 years older, hardly too old. Op wants to get married she shouldn't write of perfectly reasonable age ranges.

A man wrote this. A 34 year old woman should definitely be willing to date men in their early thirties. Those are the most desirable men in her age range. They are old enough to be marriage minded but no too old to be weird or set in their ways.

Nope! I am a 34 year old married woman who likes older men and would not date much younger guys. All of my girls friends who were single for the longest time were dating younger men
