Our house came with a split-rail fence that, politely, is at the end of its useful lifespan. Less politely, it's an eyesore that thankfully is not visible from the street - one side also abuts a neighbors fencing that is in worse shape than ours, so we'd like to cover that up as well. We would like to replace it with a low-maintenance vinyl fence (preferably not white, more of a woodgrain finish) with three gates (both sides and back). We have also exhausted our DIY energy for the year and and are fine with paying someone to install the new fence.
Does anyone have a fence installer that will do a good job and is there a particular brand or type of composite or vinyl fencing you can recommend? The yard has some slope to it, and we are considering a shorter fence on the climbing to a privacy fence on the back property line, owing to an unusual yard/neighborhood configuration. TIA! |
| I would reach out to Expert Fence and Hal Co Deck and Fence for a quote. We were please with the prompt response and pricing of both. |

They suck! Asked for quote. Sent all the information requested. Took them over 3 weeks to respond after continuously telling me the quote would be sent in the next few days! AND the quote they sent was not even for the material I had requested. I still have the whole email trail |
I had a similar issue with them as well. Hal Co and Expert Fence both sent an estimator out to measure and talk options. Beitzell wanted to quote via email. |

| If you're still looking for someone, I suggest you call Robert at NV Improvements. He just installed a small picket fence for us. The price was reasonable and very good workmanship. He's easy to deal and his number is 703-843-4843. |
| We used Lion's fencing to replace our very old, damaged wooden privacy fence with a two tone vinyl fence. They were extremely competitive price wise and honestly we had a great experience with the owner, Richard (who came out to do the measuring) and the crew that came to do the install. Had one little hiccup where we ended up needing two more fence posts than originally thought (just due to the spacing that needed to happen to make fencing fit our yard) so they built as much of the fence as they could in a manner that our yard was still secured, then ordered additional parts immediately and finished the job the following week. The crew even helped our neighbor fix a few fence posts of her fence that had been installed improperly and could cause issues for our fence. Job site cleaned up daily, great crew, great company. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in the NOVA area. |

Adirondack Fence is currently putting up a modern, horizontal cedar fence in my yard. Smells wonderful!
These guys were super easy to work with. My neighbor had them do his fence last fall, and we wanted ours to match. If you're into that style, maybe give them a call: https://adirondackfencebuilders.com |
| Please don't use Long Fence or even think about contacting them, you will be in spam hell forever. |
