Thoughts on the Novogratz Family...

I find them super annoying and generally don’t care for their design style.They come off as self important douchebags on social media. They have been very successful so clearly I’m missing something. Your thoughts?

Can not stand them. I can’t pin point why. The wife is whiny. Nothing ever seems smooth or easy.

They have that California bravado and never-let-my-punk-side-die thing. (But are they from nyc? I can’t remember. Either way.)

I mean, there’s a market for that though. People who want to stand out, be unique, “forever young” aging dad. Etc.

Amaze you in a good way? Naming your kid Five? Saving others the need to google they are - Wolfgang, Bellamy, Tallulah, Breaker, Five, Holleder, and Major. People who name their kids in this manner are attention whores.

He’s from Alexandria (yes, that one). She’s from Georgia. They met and moved to nyc. In 2014 they moved LA in 2014. Or so says wiki

I see them on ads frequently. Most on FB or web ads.

And occasionally have seen them on tv ads. Didn’t they have another Novogratz for Target? Or something?

The “castle” they live in is too die for. Truly their life seems amazing to me. Lots of beautiful children, beautiful homes, good health and they love what they do. Very lucky people.

I knew the Novogratz family in the late 80s-early 90s when they were stationed in Heidelberg, Germany as was my family. Their father, Robert Sr, was an colonel in the US Army and my Dad's boss. We knew the younger kids, Elizabeth and John, primarily, but the older kids would come around occasionally on summer and Christmas breaks. Nice family, reminded our family of the Kennedys. So many of them, all good looking.
