Some of New York City's largest employers—including Wall Street firms Goldman Sachs and Citigroup—have started receiving some doses of swine flu vaccine. That includes the NYSE.

City health officials say doctors for company health services can ask for the vaccine along with other city doctors. They can only vaccinate high-risk employees like pregnant women and those with chronic illnesses.

CNBC has learned that Goldmans Sachs received 200 doses of vaccine, the same amount as New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital.

Why are businesses like banks getting this vaccine at work?

My husband works at a car dealership in Fairfax and they vaccinated all the employees last week. Well all the ones that wanted it anyway. Not sure how they got their supply.

Why/how would a car dealership get vaccine before my pediatrician or an OB office? Really does not make sense.

My employer is slated to get some, but we haven't heard anything yet. I assume we'll get it when it becomes very plentiful, but not before.

I assume you are talking about seasonal flu, not swine flu vaccine?

I work for a government agency and they just announced they would be providing some shots starting next week. At this point they said it would be pregnant women only. They said they will have a very limited amount at the beginning.
