Has anyone been there with kids? Is there anything to do with little ones besides pool/beach? Any recommended resorts/hotels?

We took my daughter there on her first vacation. We stayed at the Marco Beach Resort

The rooms were suite style which was great. We had a bottom floor room which did not have an ocean view but did have a fenced in yard.

Naples might not be the best place for young singles or couples w/o kids, but the pace and attractions are great for kids. Besides the beach, there is the Naples Zoo (with our kids' favorite Monkey Boat), eco tours (ocean and everglades), and if you're into it, a pretty decent outlet mall. Sanibel (shelling and lighthouse) is not too far. Restaurants are pretty decent which is a minimum requirement for us. We like to stay at the Bellasera (check tripadvisor.com)...
