Is anyone else out there concerned about TTC and getting the H1N1 vaccine? This is stressing me out so much. I dont know if we should stop TTC and get the H1N1 shot, or just keep on TTC and get the shot- what if it's damaging to the embryo-- if I conceived and then get the shot at the same time? PLease help! Thanks |

there is a "flu forum" on this website.
yes i am concerned too. i am going to wait until my 2ww is over and then talk to my doctors about it. |
| Actually, my preference would be to get it during TT&C rather than during my first trimester. During most of the TWW, the embryo isn't attached to the body and isn't receiving blood or anything from my body, whereas during the first trimester crucial parts are growing. But in any event, there is not much we can do about it since who knows when the non-first priority folks will be able to get the shot. |
| ditto to immediatley previous post. |

i still will discuss it with my doctor, rather than making my decision based on an anonymous discussion forum. while i think this forum is great for suggestions, it is anonymous and not my medical doctor...

| PP I agree that you should get your advice about this H1N1 vaccine from your doctor and not this forum. In fact I have foolishly followed some of the advice on this board and it is bias and driven by employees of Shady Grove fertilty. |

"it is bias and driven by employees of Shady Grove fertilty."
I have to say that, while I'm not a fan of SG and have criticized them on these boards, having been on this board for 18 months and a SG patient for 9 months, I seriously doubt that SG employees are even looking at this site let alone posting on it. |
whatever - somebody is in a bad mood i guess and wanting to pick fights... what a random response! what does shady grove have to do w/ h1n1 and any of these posts on this thread? |
