| We are considering moving our son from PEP INC to the five hour per day, PEP C class, per the suggestion of his teacher. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this program - positive or negative - that you would be willing to share. My understanding is that the program is now a combo of kids who are medically fragile and those with significant learning issues. Anyone experience this program? |
| It was one of the two programs recommended for my kid--the other being PEP classic It was then and still is as you describe--kids with physical/medical issues plus learning issues possibly ID According to our advocate PEP C puts you on the track for the non-diploma program from the get-go MCPS will deny this of course but I believed they were underestimating my kid and fought the placement and we now know because of testing that I was right |
| Thanks. How do you end up on the non diploma track in preschool, though? How does that unfold? |
. Nobody will say this per se. it’s that the academic concepts won’t be stressed to the same degree and when you finish that program there’s an established trajectory to the next one which will likely be LFI. It’s one thing feeding to the next. |
