Has anyone been to 2941 in Falls Church?

I'm looking for a restaurant for my birthday that is not in DC but in NoVA. Open Table and Wash Post give it very good reviews. Just want to make sure it is the right choice given since we rarely go on "date nights". Hubby and I are foodies. Already been to Restaurant Eve.

Was there a few weeks ago. It is very good and seems to have suvived the chef transition nicely. Definitely a good date night restaurant.

It is awesome - very nice inside, and nice view outside. It is perfect if you are a foodie bc the chef came from a famous restaurant in NYC - cant think of the name right now but when I heard it I knew it and dined there for my bday and it was amazing.
2941 definitely survived the transition.

We went for the first time about a month ago. The food was very good. The place is really nice, but the service was abysmal. Just for that we probably won't go again.

I'm not sure how 2941 is now with the new chef, but my experiences there have been "not so good food," and "just OK service." Scenery is excellent though. THe food may be better now...
