federal plans with ivf besides aetna and md ipa

Anonymous
Has anyone used up coverage for ivf cycles in one plan and then changed plans? I did 3 failed cycles with aetna and want to switch during open season to md ipa. Also, are there any other federal plans that provide ivf coverage?

I researced which ones do and could only find Aetna. I know BCBS doesn't. GL!

Those are the only two I'm aware of -- Aetna and MDIPA. You might also ask your RE's financial or insurance person. I go to SG and got the advice of their insurance liaison when I was trying to figure out which plan to choose.

Can you switch during the process? For example, I am currently with BC/BS standard, and I am about to make my first RE appt. I am going to look at coverage during open season, so coverage would start, I would think, after my first RE appt.

Thoughts?
