Rush's RINO remark

| Rush said Dede Scozzafava is "guilty of widespread bestiality. She has screwed every RINO in the country." I'm a proud liberal who is no fan of Rush, but I have to admit that I think the wordplay here is very funny, and anyone who thinks it is a below-the-belt insult does not understand what a pun is. However, I disagree that she screwed the RINOs, I think she set an example that they are more attuned to the Democratic Party these days than to the right wing lunacy that has taken over the GOP. |

| Having spent a few years in Central New York and then a few years in Central Virginia, this story just reminds me that Republicans in New York are just a very different breed from those down in Virginia. Not that you were asking for comments on that but I've always been struck the way that Democrats in Central Virginia are much more like Republicans in New York and vice versa. |
