Help! I've been trying to get the thim-free seasonal flu shot for TWO MONTHS!

Anonymous
Where oh where can I get it? I keep calling CVS Minute Clinic where I got it last year. They'll either say they don't have it, tell me they do have it but then it's not there when I get to the clinic, or they say they have it but they are going to give it to the next people who come in regardless of whether they can get the multi-dose or not. Argh!!! This is driving me crazy. I'm not usually in such a frenzy trying to get the flu shot (last year was my first one when I was pregnant with #1), but I've already been sick twice this year, and I can't handle being sick and taking care of an infant. I live in Bethesda and work downtown, but at this point I'd go anywhere. Thanks!

If the shot is for you, and you're not pregnant, just get the regular shot. Since there is no solid scientific evidence of harm from thimerisol, especially in adults, why make yourself crazy? You can go back to searching out the thim-free shot next year.
