Getting anxious

Ugh, day 26 of my cycle and 12 dpo... (cycles have been about 28 days the last few months). I did fine the last ten days but now I'm anxious. Anxious about whether I'll get my period again or not. I'll probably have a good idea in the next 48 hours b/c I usually get PMS symptoms... but I'm so anxious to get on this monthly, emotional roller-coaster again, it's wearing on me, getting upset and emotional and crying every month. And I don't want to take a HPT till day 29 for sure, I can't deal with the disappointment of taking a test (too early) and then getting my period that same day.
