Telling Drop In Classes about ADHD

Anonymous
My kindergartner has an ADHD diagnosis, is medicated and does okay in new situations and is looking forward to going-- but definitely more hyper/excitable.
We are using drop in care this winter for a day or two at a local playplace. Should I tell them ahead about my kid's diagnosis? It's not a camp that would otherwise require a medical form. Not sure if I should err on the side of caution and let them know, but concerned about them overreacting or it raising an issue if there really isn't one. What do other folks typically do?

I usually just say that my child can become overwhelmed and it's too much for you to handle, please give me a call and I will come pick up.

I wouldn't - I would use it as an opportunity to see how things go in an unbiased setting. If she gets kicked out, that's good information about what level of supports she needs. I do tell longer camps about my child's diagnosis because I want to make sure it's a good fit; but just a one day drop-in? Most likely not.
