Best Fed Insurance coverage for meds?

I see a lot of comments on options for saving on IVF procedures but does any insurance cover the meds?

No, IVF meds are all out of pocket.

Kaiser covers 50%. After I met my OOP max deductible for the year ($3,500) my meds were free! So if you get Kaiser, the most you'll likely pay is $3,500.

Which year did you use the benefits? Was there a specific Kaiser govt plan?

Kaiser will only cover the meds associated with IUI since its the only ART procedure they cover at 50%. all other ART meds are OOP especially those associated with IVF and or FET

It was this year, 2018. I have the Standard Option Kaiser Federal Govt. plan.

I did have to pay 50% for my ART meds but once I met my $3,500 OOP max deductible for the year (IUI meds and some unrelated medical expenses) my ART meds were fully covered and cost nothing OOP. I don't think Kaiser has any way to know if the meds are for IUI of IVF. Some of the injectibles (FSH) are used in both IUI and IVF.
