Honestly, what’s the best preschool in dc and why?

Do you judge based on the wait list?

I judge by location and hours - how easy is it for me to get there and will it work with my career.

Honestly, there isn't a "best" preschool.

And judging by the wait list is silly. That might tell you if it's popular, but popularity is not just based on quality--it's also based on location, convenience, cost, "trendiness" (for lack of a better word), etc.

Even the best one isn't as good as the child's own home with a parent. But keep telling yourself money buys everything . . .

This has nothing to do with money buying everything. Me staying home with my kid would be FAR more expensive than the priciest preschool given the income we would forgo.
