| My 12 year old would like to give 6-7 of his friends a small holiday gift. He is buying them himself, and would like to just get one thing for the sake of ease. Any recommendations? Ideally he’d like something that’s <$5/kid. These are boys and girls, FWIW. |

Doesn't he know what they like?
Fidget toys, thinking putty, pokemon cards...whoopee cushions, snow saucers from $5 Below. |
| That is sweet of him. I'd suggest a place like $5 Below. maybe if he wanders around he will get some ideas. |
| I'd suggest something edible - like a holiday candy item (Lindt chocolate reindeer, etc.). |
| At that age, my kids and their friends typically made holiday gifts for one another. Ornaments, baked goods, art projects of various kinds, etc. were popular. If you want to buy something, I second the suggestion of 5Below. Lots of cute/fun options at a good price. |
| The fuzzy/soft socks at Old Navy are fun. There are lots of animals or holiday motifs to choose from, and they're currently buy one get one 50 percent off, so it would be good to buy a bunch at one time (they'd be about 3.50 each). They also work well for both boys and girls. |
Picked up some of these for my daughters and my 14 year old son really wants some too—hard to find them in men’s sizes! |
Just get the women's, men's size + 2 = women's size (close enough for socks anyway) |
| Yo-yos. |
