Partial Spanish Immersion in middle school

What level is Spanish Immersion in 6th grade? I'm trying to buy a textbook to supplement studying at home but not sure which Realidades textbook to purchase. Also, what level language class do immersion kids take in 9th grade?

Immersion kids take Spanish 4 in 9th grade along with kids who started Spanish in 6th grade.
you are better off supplementing your child's language study by having them watch videos, movies, sports etc in Spanish. Students have resources to do grammar drills without buying the textbook.
