Do federal contractors have off on Wednesday ?

Since the federal government is closed or is it like a snow day and we have to work?

No. We’re a federal contractor and don’t follow all federal holidays. You’re SOL.

I know Trump said Wednesday is mourning day. I didn’t think he meant federal government will close...

He separately announced government will close.

The federal buildings will be closed. If your contract says that you need to be on site - and supervised by your COR, you can not work if your CIR will not be there.

I would think of it as - what do you typically do on a snow day?

The government always closes in this circumstance. It isn’t a new thing.

Our agency has said that the facility will be open, but the civil servants are excused for the day. Contractors are not, even those that are on-site at the agency facility.

You'll probably have to work extra!

Wouldn't this question be better directed to your employer?
