Will other counties give H1N1 vaccine to FFX County residents?

FFX County doesn't yet have enough vaccine for us. Where can we go? We have 2 kids, ages 6 and 10, plus healthy dad and mom in high-risk category (but not pregnant). FFX will do the 6-year-old if we get there early enough on Wednesday. Can the rest of us go to the Manassas Mall, or is that only for PWC residents? It sounds like DC clinics are letting others come, but I don't know where. All advice welcome! Thanks!

Thank you! I just phoned PWC and was told that starting Wednesday, they will only have the mist, not injectable. Our whole family needs the injectable, but DH might be able to get there this afternoon. I'm glad our neighboring county is being so neighborly!

All county health departments, by and large, are distributing vaccine regardless of residence. The virus doesn't stop at county borders.

OP here. DH just called from Manassas Mall, where he was told that based on where is was in line, he only had a 50/50 chance of getting the vaccine before they closed shop at 7 pm. Also told him they'd probably run out of injectable (which he needs) before then, so he's bagging it. I'll look into the DC clinics for tomorrow night or this weekend. Or something!
