Can I wash an insulated lunch box in the washing machine?

On gentle? And air dry it? I’m pretty diligent about wiping it out but something spilled in it and now it smells sour.

We have this one: https://m.llbean.com/llb/shop/70705?page=lunch-box&pn=pd&skCatId=70705

I would be concerned that somehow water will seep into the lining. Unless there are no seams?

I do all the time. It dries overnight.

I wash ours a lot, but always inside a zippered gentle wash bag since I accidentally ruined my daughter's favorite lunch box (the picture cover frayed apart).

I set mine out to air dry and by morning they are ready to go.

I do ours all the time. Put it in a mesh bag on light/gentle cycle.

I put our PBK one in the top rack of the dishwasher.

I put in our Lands End and LL Bean ones all the time. No issues and we are going on year 4? 5?

I also wash ours all the time, too, with no problems.

I washed a lands end one and the material inside ended up bunching. Had to throw it away.

All the time. No dryer, but they dry quickly on their own. I just throw them in the regular wash Cycle on cold.

I have washed ours about every 2 weeks for 3 years. I put them in the dryer too (I thought air drying made them smell musty.
