I would like to compare the notes regarding adult cases of currently happening H1n1 cases
in our area in adult group as I have some symptoms and yet the doc did not wanted to test me. I wonder if this what I was having sounds like typical DC area strains of H1n1: fever 103.8 for 4 days, cough very dry and then mucus producing very tired and weak with huge headache no body aches no sore throat no congestion, sinuses problems no sweating for first few days then profuse sweating fewer gets down after 4 days dissapears after additional 2 days. |
| does that mean that there is no adults sick with h1n1 at this time in our area? |

I'm not sure if what I had was H1N1 (my doctor was not testing for it), but I was sick with flu-like symptoms last week and had:
-Body aches and exhaustion -Horrible headache -Sore throat -Low grade temperature (around 100.5) After a few days, I then started having a dry cough and chest tightness. |

I had these symptoms, and this is how they started and progressed:
dry cough, congestion body aches low fever headache head ache extreme fatigue That was the first two days THEN, all of those and: wetter cough diarrhea vomiting PROFUSE sweating TERRIBLE congestion more dry cough More than a week later, I am still coughing |
| I had a bad headache, then chills and SERIOUS aches in my joints (lasted 2 days) then sore throat, and finally a cough and fatigue that still lingers on. My pediatrician diagnosed me (and my kids) as having H1N1 but did not test us. I had no fever but one of my kids had a high fever and the other a moderate fever. |
Forgot to add that I also had an alternating runny nose and stuffed nose. |
