I would like to compare the notes regarding adult cases of currently happening H1n1 cases
in our area in adult group as I have some symptoms and yet the doc did not wanted to test me. I wonder if this what I was having sounds like typical DC area strains of H1n1: fever 103.8 for 4 days, cough very dry and then mucus producing very tired and weak with huge headache no body aches no sore throat no congestion, sinuses problems no sweating for first few days then profuse sweating fewer gets down after 4 days dissapears after additional 2 days. |

| I'm curious too since that sounds like what my husband and I have been through. The cough is the most lingering dadgum thing ever! Hate it! |

The CDC site has a list of symptoms. Just remember that even if you and your twin both get infected with the same variant of any bug, you can have differing presentations of symptoms. So, just because you have list A symptoms and someone else has list B, you both could still have the same bug.
If I had what you're describing, I would assume it was the swine flu based on the fever and the cough, and the headaches/ lethargy. My kids had the fever, cough, runny noses and lethargy. The one thing I am hearing a LOT is the "four days" part. |
| Mine was a little different, I had back pain and dizziness on Sunday. Then really nothing else except lingering back pain until Tuesday night. Then I was really tired. Wed, I woke up extremely tired, and I had snot running all day, sneezing and coughing. I was also tired and had body aches and a very bad headache. No fever yet. By Thursday, I was so tired, I could barely move, my joints and back hurt. Had a slight fever. My fever went up, but never much over 101.5. I spent most of the day Thursday in bed. I went to the dr, but she didn't know what it was and wasn't testing. On Friday, I was a bit better, but still feverish. Slowly got better but still dragging. Going to work tomorrow, Tuesday, hope to make it through the day. |
| I'm the pp, I forgot to add about the cough. Lingering cough that just won't quit. Still have it today and hoping it will go away soon. |
| Sounds a lot like what I had. Yes on flu. |
