I waited for 3.5 hours at Wilson on Thursday night. I arrived at 5 pm because everyone I spoke to who had gone the previous week were in and out in less than 30 min. Big mistake. After waiting in line all evening, we were told they were out of the multidose (the only one we were there for) and sent home. On the bright side, I went to Ballou on Saturday, got there before it opened at was out in an hour. If I had come after 9, we wouldn't have waited at all.

I would avoid the Wilson weekday clinic.

Lines in NE & SE are shorter.

Go to Coolidge or one of the other clinics other than Wilson (Ballou, etc.). We went to Coolidge this weekend at 1 PM and were in and out in 20 minutes. There were only about 8-10 people in front of us in line. They vaccinated my 6 1/2 mo old, me as a nursing mom and caregirver as a 6 (and change) mo. old, and my husband, as a caregiver of a 6 (and change) mo. old, even though their info indicates they are currently only vaccinating youth and pregnant women. This was the case for our friends with an infant, too -- both the mom and dad were given the shot. In addition to being "generous" with the administration, they were incredibly efficient, caring, cleanly, organized. From all reports, and our personal experience, DC is doing an absolutely stellar job with the H1N1 clinics.
