Ellicott city

We are looking to possibly move from Rockville to ellicot city. Are the schools, specifically Marriott ridge, diverse? We are a Jewish family. Thanks!

I can’t speak to that particular school, but we have friends who just moved to Ellicott City. They are an UMC AA couple with a toddler-aged daughter.

Just don't live in the history center - the floods have been deadly.

If you view school details, you can see the school profile.

Mariotts Ridge is mainly white and Asian - similar to Wootton.

White 51%, Asian-American 34%, black/African-American 9%, two or more 4%, Hispanic/Latinx 2%. FARMs <5%, ESOL 0%, special education <5%.

Is it diverse compared to my Midwestern high school in the 1980s? Yes. Is it diverse compared to my kid's Montgomery County high school now? Nope.

I feel like OP is asking if there are Jews there (given the reference to being a Jewish family). Published statistics won’t tell you that.
