Expectant and Postpartum Moms

Just wanted to share something that worked great for me.
I was pregnant over the summer, and was annoyed when my inner thighs would chafe in the heat. I bought some large men's seamless boxer briefs at Target that were light, stretchy and soft. They came over my belly and did the trick. After my c-section, they were lifesavers. I wore them for weeks instead of underwear. They were loose and soft enough, and the best thing was they didn't hit anywhere near my c-section scar. I got the stretchy (and seamless) Champion brand: http://www.amazon.com/Champion-Mens-Double-Seamless-Trunk/dp/B001AY2UTO Enjoy! |
FTM here (have not yet delivered_) but this may be a TMI question, but with boxers how did you or did you need to wear a maxi pad? did you have any vaginal bleeding?
I was wondering the same thing!
OP here. Pads weren't a problem, and yes you definitely bleed. I wore the mesh panties in the hospital and didn't switch to the shorts til my ride home. You can just stick the big honking pads onto the shorts like you would to regular underwear. It would work the same as if you had a pad without wings. They stayed in place for me. Good luck!
I could see how pads would work with boxer briefs. Not sure about straight up boxers, though. Good tip.
OP what size did you get? (and what size are you in womens)
