Second shot for child under 2

Children under 2 need 2 swine flu shots. Does anyone know if the second shot is different from the first shot or if they are just both 1/2 doses. TIA.

What I was told was that they are both half doses. My one year old received a half with her first and will receive 1/2 with her second. My 4 year old got a full shot and her second shot will be a half dose.

Thanks, that is what I thought. My under 2 yr old got her 1st shot 2.5 weeks ago and now I am searching to get her a second shot this week because where we got the first shot is now completely out. Someone told me that the shots were different, but that is not what I had heard or read from other sources, so thanks for confirming.

I have heard from a friend of mine who works in the vaccine quality area, that ideally you will get the second shot from the same manufacturer, but it's not necessary. However, for kids under 2, I think only one manufacturer is making them anyway (for H1N1).
