DD’s friend was just notified. Sent application 3 weeks ago at same time as my DD.
I thought EA notifications announced after Jan 1? |
| Good friend just learned she got in! |
| Congratulations! How were your kids notified, email, portal or postal mail? |
| Congratulations! I have a junior who will be applyong to VCU next year. In looking at the website, it was hard for us to find info on actual dates to expect EA. How awesome to know before Thanksgiving! |
| OP here. DD received acceptance notification from Pitt on Monday. Was hoping for EA notification from VCU before Pitt. |
| Pretty sure they are rolling. |
I'll never understand why some of you don't google before posting: Freshman applicants who apply under the regular admission process may receive early notification of their acceptance if they present exceptional admission credentials. Transfer applicants to programs on the Monroe Park Campus will be notified of an admission decision on a rolling basis. Wow! |

OP here. My DD received her acceptance via snail mail yesterday. Happy and relieved.

Congrats to your DD, hoping to receive something soon! |
| Got a snail mail for arts program today. Relieved first application was not a rejection. |
| Congrats! |
| Congrats! My daughter went to VCU and had a great college experience. In her field, on $$ of the business fraternity she belonged to, she was invited to attend conferences/job fairs in Philadelphia, Chicago, Orlando, Columbus, and Dallas. I believe she ended up attending 3 of these. She got an internship in her field during the summer after her sophomore year (in Richmond) and stayed on with the company part-time through the rest of her VCU years, with them working around her school schedule. She has graduated and is working full time for this same company, just got a promotion, and owns her own home. IMO, VCU seems very dedicated to the success of each student. Congrats again! |
| DS got notice of acceptance to the arts program today via regular mail. He applied November 15. |
